Biography
Zoe Jarvis is a practicing digital print designer. Her work explores the increasing crossover between fashion, textiles, interior design and art; bringing together these various fields of design to create dynamic works that, whilst enriched by the latest technologies, also frequently reference traditional techniques.
She draws inspiration from the exploration of boundaries. Her initial multi-media approach to design research employs film, photography, fine art and literature to develop concepts for designs, which then themselves interrogate boundaries as they find the subtle in the explicit, or harmonies in the clash between nature and industry.
Her finished designs are suitable for a range of purposes, from one-off exhibition pieces, installations, and couture garments to commercial fashions and domestic interior design items.
