DPIR: a celebratory 25 years identity that reflects the reach and impact of the department.
Background
Strategy and Delivery
At just 25 years old, the Department of Politics and International Relations has already began to build quite the legacy with its groundbreaking research, impressive alumni, and outstanding cohort of already successful students.
The department wanted to use their 25 year celebration as a pedestal to speak out about their successes, and reflect of their global impact.
The Department wanted to highlight five areas in which they would pull their stories of success from. This led to the concept of ‘25 in 25’ – five stories from each of the five departments.
They did not want a ‘typical’ anniversary identity, no fireworks, no balloons. This was an exciting challenge to get the feeling of impact, celebration and wide reach. The result: a spark. It’s that spark you get when you’re learning about the thing you’re most passionate about. It’s the spark you get when you do something groundbreaking. It’s the spark of DPIR that reaches across the globe.
This identity was rolled out across digital platforms, along with a supporting globe graphic that further demonstrates the department global reach.
